DOWNLOAD | FXScript v1.1 Update | Kontakt 3 & 4
New in V1.01
- Added a blacklist for CCs. If you want to use this script in a instrument which already has CC control, you can exclude those CCs from the auto CC mapping in the FXScript. Simply click on 'CC Blacklist' and set all CCs you want to exclude to '1' in the table (you'll see the number of the CC when changing the value. You'll have to try a bit to get it right, unfortunately it was the only way to get this done pretty fast). CC#0 and CC#127 can't be blacklisted by the way, CC#0 however won't ever be used by the script. After you've changed your blacklist, press the [!] button on the Kontakt UI to restart the engine and the script. Take a look at the CC mapping now.
What is FXScript?
FXScript mirrors all insert and send fx of your instrument to the performance view. It also automatically generates a CC map, so you can control all FX parameters via CC (CC64 is left out, since it's reserved for sustain pedal). Is FXScript free?
It's free for personal and commerical use. Please donate, if you like it :) You may not use it in Kontakt libraries which will be sold later, however. If you like to use it in your commerical library or you'll like the fully readable source code, please contact me.Download here:

Great resources for Kontakt Scripting & Library developing
For everyone interested in Kontakt library developing and Kontakt scripting, take a look at those links:

DOWNLOAD UltraVib&UltraTrem v2.1 - now with full source! | Kontakt 2 & 3 & 4
You'll find more information about the script in my first blog.
Note: this script was done when K2 was the current Kontakt version. It works in K3 and in K4 as well, but somehow the presets don't sound right anymore. The vibrato is barely audible. You'll need to tweak the strength parameter (and the fade parameter), to make the vibrato sound in good in the new Kontakt versions as well. Take a look at the UltraVib manual on how to do this. This is necessary, because some issues in the K2 engine were fixed in K3 and above, but the drawback was a much slower response to volume and pitch changes.
Also make sure you'll remove any Kontakt LFO modulators from the instrument before using this script.
This script is quite old (from 2006) and has been around for a long time. But still some of you might be interested in the source code. So here we go!
Are UltraVib und UltraTrem readable source code available?

DOWNLOAD | FormantCorrectPitchbend v1.03 | Kontakt 3.5 & 4

Formant correct pitchbend allows a pitchbend which has significant less 'Mickey Mouse'-effect when a note is bend up for example. In a lot of cases it sounds much more natural than standard pitchbend. The script should be fairly easy to use. You can switch between 'Standard' and 'Formant Correct' pitchbend either via the corrosponding buttons or via CC. The CC and the threshold for switching can be setup right below these buttons. Is FormantCorrectPitchbend readable source code available?
You can setup the bend range with the 'Bend' knob. In case you want to lower the volume on the bended note a little bit (which is often the case playing real instrument) you can do this using 'Bend Volume'. The default value is -10%, which means the volume of the bended note is about 10% less loud. If you select 'Bend Velocity', the same value means 10% less velocity. You can also choose 'Bend Velocity CC' which allows you to use a CC to modulate how much the volume should be attenuated if pitchbend is used.
Make sure to delete all pitchbend modulators in Kontakt before using the script!
Before you can use the formant correct pitchending you'll have to setup a playrange. Simply use the 'Learn Minmum' and 'Learn Maximum' buttons.
Yes, it's included. If you want to compile it, you'll need the great KScript Editor by Nils Liberg (http://www.nilsliberg.se/ksp/). The source code includes a lot of libraries I used in the past. For my commerical work, I've written a lot of new libraries, so I thought it might be a good idea to share my older work from the days back when I was learning KSP. Have fun with it!Is FormantCorrectPitchbend free?
